Meet Oral & Facial Surgeon Dr. Whitney
Oral, Laser and Facial Cosmetic Surgeon James H.S. Whitney, DDS
Dr. Whitney was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. He completed his undergraduate work at Hampden-Sydney College, and earned his Doctorate Degree at the Medical College of Virginia. In 1979, he completed his Surgical Residency at the Medical College of Georgia, and then moved to Harrisonburg where he continues to practice.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, A Fellow in the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He is an Instructor of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support at Rockingham Memorial Hospital, a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association.
Dr Whitney limits his practice to Oral Surgery, Laser Surgery, Dermatologic Surgery, and Facial Cosmetic Surgery.
